LUCKY SEVEN – PLANTATION HOMES NAMED THE HIA QUEENSLAND PROFESSIONAL MAJOR BUILDER SEVEN YEARS RUNNING

Seven was certainly the lucky number for Plantation Homes when it was named the HIA Queensland Professional Major Builder for the seventh consecutive year, last Friday evening.

The award, which recognises Queensland’s top builders and construction companies for design, innovation, customer service, business and financial management, and ethical conduct is an unprecedented achievement for Plantation Homes, who began building homes just 23 years ago.

This award is special in so many ways for the Plantation Homes team and its customers.  This recent industry award is unprecedented in Queensland, as Plantation Homes will be the first builder ever in Queensland to have been bestowed this honour seven years running.

Passion is in our blood

Upon accepting the top industry accolade, Henley Properties Group Joint CEO, Antony Blackshaw, said this prestigious award is testament to the high-performance team of passionate people at Plantation Homes, who consistently demonstrate an unwavering commitment to excellence in all they do.

“At the very heart of this, is designing and building stunning homes which are a perfect fit to the quintessential Queensland lifestyle. Our suite of homes boasts a high level of inclusions, exceptional quality and aspirational features, coupled with truly world-class service.

Moreover, we are constantly evaluating and enhancing ways to excel in our business through our design leadership, research and development to the intimate way we work in partnership with our customers in delivering superb and well-purposed family homes.”

More than bricks and mortar

Plantation Homes’s reputation for excellence extends beyond the homes which are built and reaches into the communities Plantation Homes help create, through the extensive philanthropic efforts.

In 2019, Plantation Homes, will once be behind the House for Life project, whereby a Plantation home is built and auctioned, with all proceeds from the sale of the home then donated to the Mater Foundation to support Mater Little Miracles.  So far, Plantation Homes has raised $2.5 million for the Mater Foundation.

Capping off a great year

This announcement comes off the back of a suite of other recent industry accolades. In 2018, Plantation Homes has also secured the HIA Gold Coast/Northern Rivers Housing Awards for the Carmelle 28 (Best Display up to $300,000) and Bentley 42 (Best Display $401,000 to $500,000), and at the HIA iLandscape Sunshine Coast/Wide Bay Housing Awards, the Hamilton 24 was judged Best Display Home up to $300,000.

For the 12,000 homes Planation Homes have built so far, you can be certain that Queensland families have been front and centre in every aspect of the design and build process.  The end result are exceptional homes which Queensland families fall in love with.
