We'd like to give a shout-out to Hayley Morton who is nominated for the Housing Industry Association Women in Construction Awards!
We are so incredibly proud and grateful to have Hayley on our team!
Hayley has been helping customers build their dream homes for over 10 years. She genuinely cares about each and every Plantation customer and goes out of her way to deliver exceptional service. She loves what she does and it shows every single day.
For Hayley, it was a natural pull towards the building and construction industry from the get-go. Hayley originally worked in Property Management to “pay the bills”. Over these 4 years, she developed a love for property and completed a Certificate IV in Property whilst working. Hayley was hungry to learn more and began a Bachelor of Business (Real Estate and Property Development) at Griffith University. Whilst looking for a casual job to support university life, Hayley commenced as Sales Assistant at Plantation Homes… and as they say the rest is history.
During the five years at Plantation Homes, Hayley has had the opportunity to dive into projects and play a significant role in the customer journey.
According to Hayley, it is very easy to get bogged down in business at the sacrifice of your personal life, this is something that I know firsthand, navigating my way through the demands of busy sales roles.
“For me, true happiness and wealth is living according to my values. These can be different for everyone. I needed to take a step back on a journey of self-development, and really analyse my life to understand what my high order values are, and how congruent my goals were to these values.
“It was as simple as working out what I love and making sure this was in line. This allowed me to create discipline, be motivated, inspired, focused, consistent, reliable and authentic.”
