2 April 2020

The way we live and work has changed in recent weeks, and I would like to give you an update on everything we are doing to get you into your new home, which remains our top priority.

WE'RE AN ESSENTIAL SERVICE

The construction industry, which includes home building, continues to be deemed an essential service by the Government. We are extremely thankful for this classification and will update you if there is any change in the future. For now, home construction continues as normal, just with new work practices in place to ensure our staff and trades comply with safe distancing requirements. Where possible, our staff are also working from home but are well equipped to support you in your new home journey.

WE'RE WELL STOCKED

Most of our construction materials are sourced within Australia. Materials and goods that are imported are in good levels of supply and we don’t expect any interruption to construction. If this changes we will update you.

WE'RE STILL OPEN

Our display homes remain open for you to view, just by appointment only. To organise a private viewing please contact your nearest display home. All our homes are open from Saturday to Wednesday by appointment, plus our New Home Consultants are available to meet with you 7 days a week via voice or video calls. Our Plantation Design Studio is also open by appointment only and we continue to hold colour, electrical and contract appointments every day, with health measures in place to keep everyone safe. We just ask that you keep appointment attendees at our displays or studio to a maximum of two adults, and that you please complete a health disclosure form before your appointment.

WATCH OUT FOR ONLINE SCAMS

An unfortunate part of life at the moment is the number of scams that take place online. We have sadly seen instances where invoices emailed to a customer for payment are intercepted and our bank details are changed. This typically happens when we are emailing invoices to Gmail or Hotmail addresses. I therefore caution that if you are asked to send money to an account that is different to the one you have already made a payment previously, please don’t proceed with this payment or assume the invoice is correct. If you’re unsure, please give us a call to make sure your money is going to the right account.

We want your new home experience to be exciting and rewarding. If any part of your build in the current environment is concerning you, please don’t hesitate to contact us. We’re here to listen and help!

Finally, please play your role in what the Government is asking us to do as a community. Take care of yourself and your family. Together we will get through this. Together we will make a difference. Together we are stronger.

Latest Update - 25 March 2020

WE ARE STILL OPEN FOR BUSINESS

We are deemed as an essential service by the Government so while we may be doing things a little differently now, we are continuing to build homes for Queenslanders, and we remain open for business. Further to the announcements overnight and in addition to the precautionary measures already in place to keep all Queenslanders safe, we are making some further changes to how we service you.
