It’s no secret that Queensland families fall in love with their Plantation home, but for one local Brisbane couple, it has gone to the next level, with a top-secret marriage proposal taking place on the day they were receiving the keys to their brand-new Brighton 32. 
Planning the secret proposal
The customer Michael, recently joined forces with Plantation Homes to work out, in precision detail and secrecy, the ultimate marriage proposal at their newly-built Brighton 32 in Park Ridge.
From the champagne to the red roses and the “Will you marry me” sign, the romantic scene was set for Michael to ask his long-term girlfriend, Joanna, for her hand in marriage.
Staged with Plantation Homes General Manager Alex Raleigh on-site, under the pretense of recording the handover event for marketing purposes, little did Joanna know that Michael had already asked her parents for their blessing!
Despite being a little nervous with a camera filming the big moment, Michael went down on bended knee to propose, to the absolute shock and delight of Joanna.
She said a tearful, but joyful ‘yes!’
Even the camera crew had tears of joy!
Creating memories from day one!
Joanna and Michael are not only first-time builders, it is also their very first home. Joanna said she can’t wait to spend their first Christmas in the home and share many happy memories with friends and family, living in their beautiful new Brighton 32 with Broadway facade!

They are both looking forward making even more heart-stopping memories - they have already set the bar high for a lifetime of joy and happiness, with their very first celebration happening at handover!
