An Important Announcement from our CEO

Today, our parent company, the Sumitomo Forestry Group (SFG), announced a 51% acquisition of Metricon Homes’ shares.  

Once this acquisition is complete, SFG will have shareholdings in Henley Properties Group, Scott Park Group in WA, Wisdom Homes in NSW and Metricon, making them the largest home builder in Australia.  

This is not a merger of operations and will not impact our current or future customers with the building of their homes. Having been competitors for many years, we will continue to operate independently.  

SFG’s aim is to lead the Australian housing sector with their strong financial foundation and create an environment where Australian families can build their homes with greater peace of mind.
