Damien Cooley set to sell charity house for Mater Little Miracles

25th June 2019

With tools almost down on the 2019 House for Life charity home, high profile real estate agent and record-breaking auctioneer, Damien Cooley, will head up the auction proceedings for the 51 square custom-built home by Plantation Homes on Sunday, 8th of September.

The Hamptons-inspired four-bedroom family home will go under the hammer with all proceeds supporting sick and premature babies being cared for at Mater’s Neonatal Critical Care Unit.

King of the auctioneers

Damien, one of the most sought-after auctioneers in the country, recently walked through the soon-to-be-completed charity home located at The Surrounds, in the northern Gold Coast suburb of Helensvale.  It was a perfect opportunity for Damien to experience the heartwarming home, handpicking his favourite features ahead of the spring auction.

During Damien’s 20-year career in real estate, he has sold more than 30,000 properties, including 11 sought after properties on Channel 9’s The Block.  Damien is constantly in high demand and travels Australia-wide to head up auctions.

All for Mater Little Miracles

Excited to be a part of in the House for Life project, Damien said he cannot wait to spearhead the anticipated fast-paced auction.

“As a father to two boys and one girl, it is very humbling to be participating in a project where sick babies are supported.  Mater has helped thousands of Queensland babies, so I am very proud to be playing a part in the sale of this very special home. I will do my best to build excitement with the crowd on auction day and help secure the highest possible price.”

“The list of luxurious features and furnishings is also extensive, so it is a value-added buy for the right family, with an appealing lifestyle right on the doorstep from the adjoining park, to the nearby beaches - and I look forward to welcoming the auction winners to their new home on September 8,” he said.

“One of my favourite aspects of the home is the master bedroom. It’s spacious layout features two-walk in robes, an incredibly generous ensuite and uninterrupted views over the park.” “This home is a winner! With multiple living spaces and a north facing aspect, it’s sure to impress any buyer.” Damien added.
